Bears Best Golf Course

Description: One of Summerlin’s most exclusive communities consisting of custom and luxury home neighborhoods elevated some 3,200 feet above sea level and backing up to the Red Rock National Conservation Areas. The distinguishing aspects of this community area sophisticated, very contemporary desert architectural motifs, the spectacular natural setting, exclusivity and views (including mountain, city, golf, and high desert views). The center piece of The Ridges is the Bears Best golf course created by the signature designer, Jack Nicklaus (Bears Best Golf Course).

Profiles: The Ridges actually consist of a series of Villages, each unique with its own special qualities. These Villages include:

Promontory

One of the first villages and perhaps one of the most exclusive in that the homes at the Pointe area are located on such expansive, high and large lots. There are only a handful of lots here that have not been developed. Most of the homes here have terrific views and depending on exposure and elevation that view would concentrate on golf or mountain areas.

Topaz Ridge

The only production home neighborhood in the Ridges it was one of the very first developments by William Lyons Homes. It consists of 93 home sites from 3200- 4,600 sq ft the best views here are city and golf views.

Rim Rock

24 home custom homes ranging from 5,400 square feet to -18,000 sq ft. This community is located on the western most part of the Ridges and some spectacular mountain views can be had.

RedHawk

60 custom home sites ranging from 4,300 to over 10,000 sq ft. These homes have terrific golf views, many have golf frontage.

Boulder Ridge

This entire community was developed by Christopher Homes so the properties have a similar feel and look. Contemporary designs abound and due to the current economic cycle, there are many unfinished lots here. The views here center on mountain and desert exposures.

Arrowhead

Perhaps the most unique feature here is that this village is just one street and therefore there are far fewer homes and terrific golf, city and mountain exposures. 31 custom lots and those properties now built range from 4,600 sq ft to over 11,000.

Falcon Ridge

These properties tend to feature smaller lot sizes and consist of two streets of 60 custom homes. Elevations here can provide terrific city and golf views. Homes up to about 10,000 sq ft

Azure

One of the newer villages, Azure features home sites of one-fourth of an acre to more than one acre in size. The homes border holes 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Bear’s Best Las Vegas golf course.

Fairway Hills

The only townhome community in the Ridges. No custom construction here these units are all built by Toll Brothers and feature four contemporary floor plans and approximately 119 units located close by to The Club in the Ridges.
