Description: Drive out I95 west and turn west on Lake Mead and you will encounter one of the most unique communities in NW Las Vegas, Desert Shores. There are 4 man made lakes here and the community has a beach club complete with man made beach, clubhouse, and boathouse. Residents enjoy community facilities, boating, fishing, and swimming all for $60 a month (non-gated communities). The price of homes range from the low $100's up to over 1 million in the custom gated communities. Homes that are on the water were sold originally for approximately $100,000 lot premiums!
