It is now mandatory for all builder/developers to provide to the buyers of new homes, condos, or townhomes, a map called " Neighborhood Gaming Disclosure Maps". This map will depict the location and future zoning of all gaming related property such as casinos, resorts, taverns with limited gaming licenses (slot machines) or any other gaming related development. It is a very good idea to go over the map carefully so you really understand just what will be next to the neighborhood you are about to "buy into". The maps are available at my office and I will be glad to provide any of my clients with a copy. Neighborhood Gaming generates many a debate between developers, homeowners, and city officials.
